Changing the locks on the Coliseum door?
Posted May 11th, 2007 at 9:07 AM by SamHDespite Coliseum director Matt Brown’s apology, City Councilman Tom Phillips thinks Brown should resign and plans to speak with City Manager Mitchell Johnson about the matter. And we know how Johnson, shall we say, secures resignations.
Honestly, can anybody be happy with Brown’s performance, considering the fact that the Coliseum loses money every year? Or is it just an accepted fact of life that city-owned public venues operate in the red?
Meanwhile, Hoggard’s bummed over the city’s plan for War Memorial Stadium.
“Congratulations, Greensboro,” he writes. “This is what you wanted so this is what you get.”

Why doesn’t Mitch get the News and Record or the Pulpit Forum to somehow find a way to brand Brown a racist?
That tactic worked wonders in the Wray fray.
