In typical municipal government fashion, Greensboro —- with the City Council’s blessing —- has decided to hire an independent consultant to review the city’s waste disposal policy.
The N&R reports “nine companies submitted ideas on what to do with Greensboro’s trash,” with proposals including “expanding the current landfill, using alternative technologies or a combination of both.”
Why do I have the feeling that expanding the White Street landfill will not be one of the consultant’s recommendations?
