Update: Fracking veto overridden, but not without controversy.
The N&O reports. Next up: fracking.
G’boro recently had the grand opening of its compressed natural gas fueling station, noting “CNG vehicles help increase energy security and independence,” not to mention contributing to “an 80 percent reduction in ozone-forming emissions.”
Wonder where they think we get natural gas?

It materializes into existence by some sort of “progressive” immaculate conception, doesn’t it?

We need qualified experts with a bullet-proof reputation for not molesting unwashed masses/beaches… like BP. At least when BP’s done leaving skid marks, they make commercials telling victims how well off they are (and lucky too.) But fracking advertises how well off we are even before molestation – so you know it’s good.
By the way, since legislative documents get changed willy-nilly (as evidenced by recent NC legislative scandal), the prospect of legislature NOT screwing up is an impossibility, right? (Or do I need to sit closer to the TV)
With candy this sweet, fracking’s worth is a “Done deal” for you and your families. Stay classy NC.

The anti fracking hysteria crowd in Greensboro is upset. What a shame but elections have consequences.

There is zero evidence that fracking creates any environmental problems. None. Makes you wonder what they are afraid of. Maybe economic success and employment?
