Re: Jury convicts Lovette

No doubt if Laurence Lovette had received the death penalty (I realize he wasn’t eligible –too bad)—-his lawyers certainly would have challenged his sentence under the Racial Justice Act.

Some would say that’s evidence we need to do away with the death penalty altogether. But somebody tell me how that would be justice for Eve Carson and her family.

    Eve Carson’s family will never get justice…or their daughter back from a senseless murder.

    These two young men not only destroyed the life of Eve Carson, but their own lives as well. If only children were taught to consider what will be the consequences of today’s actions two weeks (and later) after today.

    It was a depraved act. This is a case where the public needs to see the horrible crime scene photos. Unduly inflamatory , my ass.
