Federal gov’t, pretending to do something

Funny, I was just listening to former Charlotte radio personality Jason Lewis talk about the power the federal government exercises when it randomly shuts the money spigot on and off whenever it feels like it.

Then I read this morning where the feds are threatening to shut off Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements to N.C. Baptist Hospital because they evidently didn’t do enough to keep this whack job from finishing off a helpless 2-year-old girl, despite the fact that the mother never filed charges on the initial assault and apparently invited him into the hospital room.

Jeffrey Dean Minton is in jail, where I hope he stays for a very, very long time. Local authorities have handled it, although almost too late for the little girl. Now somebody explain to me what any of this has to do with Medicaid and Medicare payments?
