Read full article » No Comments »An unidentified student at all-female Salem College student is undergoing ‘gender reassignment surgery’ and wishes to continue living on campus as a man.
A 2005 Salem graduate sent an e-mail to fellow alumnae alerting them of the situation, and evidently one of them sent the message to the Winston-Salem Journal. However, a college spokesman confirmed there indeed was a student undergoing gender reassignment surgery, but declined to identify the student for privacy reasons.
You see where this is going —- a possible challenge to Salem’s female-only status.
